It is always very encouraging to reward students that attain academic excellence. This serves as a wake-up call to other students to put in more effort towards gaining such success. Hence, the CSF California Scholarship Federation Inc. offers financial benefits to outstanding California high school students. The award is usually a Life Membership or Sealbearer award.
Upon graduation and receiving this award, beneficiaries become eligible for several scholarships. These grants are available at universities across the state and in select colleges in the USA.
The California scholarship federation encourages service to the school and community. Students qualify for membership by obtaining A’s and B’s through a point system in the most difficult classes. A semester basis determines this.
To become a lifetime member (Seal bearer) students must have qualified for four semesters during their last three years of high school, including one semester in their senior year. At graduation, lifetime members receive a special gold seal on their diploma, a certificate, and a gold stole to be worn at the ceremony.

Facts about the California Junior Scholarship Federation
Here, the first-semester senior grades of CSF members in 11th grade are added to three previous semesters of memberships. This will actually decide if the California Scholarship Federation members will become Seal bearers at graduation.
Any student that wishes to become a Seal bearer must have to make 10 points. Meanwhile, the members of the CSF must take enough classes from List I and List II and keep aiming to make “A”s to acquire enough CSF points.
Additionally, acquiring “B”s means that the person has just one (1) point whereas acquiring “A”s will give the person three (3) points.
The total points you will have to obtain from LIST I must be at least 4 while the total points from LISTS I & II must be at least 7. Hence, to attain junior membership, your grand total points from all lists must be at least 10.
NOTE: Obtaining a “D” or an “F” in any course will disqualify you for the CSF junior membership.
